1. 300 grms chicken livers very well washed
  2. 1 medium chopped onion
  3. 1/3 cup of white wine vinegor or ordinary distilled vinegar
  4. 1 teaspoon French mustard
  5. 120 grms sliced button mushrooms
  6. 1 cup of seasoned flour
  7. 3/4 decilitre of vegetable oil
  8. 2 decilitre cream
  9. 1 tablespoon green peppercorns
  10. 1 zest of lemon
  11. Seasoning


  1. Flour the washed livers and in a pre heated pan cook for 1 minute until slightly browned with the best onion chopper in your kitchen.
  2. Discard most of the oil with 3 tablespoons remaining. Add the onions mushrooms until moist
  3. Add the peppercorns,vinegor mustard and cream simmering very gently for 1 minute
  4. Carefully add the chicken livers and cook very slowly for 4 minutes
  5. Add the lemon iuice just before serving. Can be served with basmati rice and naans
