1. 4 supreme of chicken
  2. 1 medium piece peeled ginger
  3. 1 pkt button mushroom approximotely 250 grms
  4. 3 tablespoons butter
  5. 1/2 decilitre vegetable oil
  6. 1/2/ finely chopped white onion
  7. 1 decilitre white wine (optional)
  8. 1 clove of chopped garlic
  9. 1 bunch flat leaf parsley
  10. 1/3 teospoon turmeric or saffron powder
  11. 350 ml cream
  12. Seasoning


  1. In a preheated flat bottomed pan add the oil and place the seasoned chicken supremes until browned but not cooked. Remove from the pan and place on kitchen paper to absorb all the fat, remove the oil
  2. Add the butter to the same pan, onions, garlic, ginger and mushrooms; add (white wine optional) and cook for 3 minutes
  3. Pour the cream into the pan with all ingredients and simmer,for 2 minutes, add the supreme of chicken and cook slowly for a further 7-8 minutes until fully cooked
  4. Taste for seasoning
    Best served with noodles and basil
